During tonight's visit to the hospital, we found that Olivia had not gotten any worse all day. The doctor's told us that they expected a plateau would come that would last a couple days before she got better, and I am hopeful that we have hit it. If all goes well through the rest of the night they will start talking about small ways to wean her off of support starting tomorrow. This is really great news.
Petra was able to change her diaper again and take her temperature. It is funny how the very small things mean so much.
If some blood tests come back negative tomorrow (a good thing) then she will be taken off of isolation which means that we will be able to touch her with our bare hands. That will be odd and exciting.
I can't believe she is less than 3 days old. It feels like we have been here over a week.
